Quotes of the Day..

Today it is a common practice for people to deposit their money in banks. Likewise, deposit the power of your senses, your mind and the wisdom in the bank of God. They will never diminish; they will continue to grow forever and will be returned to you in times of need. Sustain and safeguard sacred love. Never give vent to hatred. Consider whatever happens as good for you. There is nothing in this world that cannot be achieved with Love.

Humanity...

Truth, Sacrifice and Righteousness constitutes humanness. Truth is Neethi (Morality), Righteousness is Reethi (Code of Conduct), and Sacrifice is Khyathi (Reputation). The combination of all of these is called Manava Jathi (Human Race). One cannot be called a human being on the basis of the form. One has to adhere to truth, uphold righteousness, and develop the spirit of sacrifice to deserve the title of human being. Spend time in serving others. Love your fellowmen. Surrender yourself to God. The entire world is permeated with Love and nothing surpasses Divine Love.

Real Education....

The heart is referred to as "Hrudaya" (Hrud + daya), meaning that the heart is the seat of compassion. Real education is that, which fosters virtues, morality, truth, compassion, discipline and duty. It is not enough to be merely intelligent. Education must confer wisdom that flows from the heart and not just knack or cunningness... Set apart some time for service. Be balanced. You should neither study continuously nor play all the time. Do not slide into lazy habits; laziness must be avoided at all costs. Excessive talking must also be avoided. Too much talk diminishes memory and dulls intelligence. Therefore, talk only when you must, and speak sweetly. When you talk, try to be always courteous and never fail to respect your parents. Your actions must always be based on love for you to be called as an educated person.
